Sorry for not updating that much...or with that great of a blog. If it can even be called a blog. On Thursday I went over to a friend's house for a sleepover, with two other friends, Hayley and Barbara. We rented Jackass Two: Unrated. It was really funny...but disturbing. Very...unrated. *haha

Hayley, Kristel and I pulled an 'all-nighter', but Barbara couldn't and fell asleep. We drew on her face! We also wrote something on her leg that we didn't tell her about. Doesn't matter though, she was the least drawn-on out of all of us. I had marker all over my arms and feet (a bit of my leg) and a tiny bit on my face. So did Hayley. At 6:04 a.m. we went outside to watch the sun come up, but it had been up for a while (hard to tell in the basement). It was freezing out there.

We came back in the house, and at this point I was feeling like I was about to puke. Why...probably because I had no sleep and had hardly eaten anything but acidic foods. Upon going back downstairs to get some sleep (it was 7 by this time), I threw up. It made me feel a lot better and I was able to get to sleep though, *haha. All of us woke up to the annoying sound of the telephone and the even more annoying sound of Lucas's voice (it's a long story). I ended up hanging up on him.

I came back home to Alene asking me if I wanted to go to the Detroit Tiger's game with her (I don't live in Detroit, btw). Of course I did and I went (quite tired). We didn't end up getting in 'cause the traffic was so bad it took us about an hour and a half to get to Detroit, and buying tickets for the full price coming in at the bottom of the fourth wasn't really worth it. So we went to HockeyTown Cafe and watched the game on the televisions there with some nachos and drinks. We did watch the fireworks (they have fireworks every Friday game) hanging on to the gate from outside. And the Tigers lost to the Royals 10-2, so it didn't matter much anyways.

Today, I went to see 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry' with Alene. Really funny movie, seriously. It even had its sad/'touching' (hate that word) moments (far and few between, though). But it was great. I'll leave you with two pictures of the fireworks. :)

Also - if you read my blog site, it's the exact same entry..so if you tend to comment @ both places, just pick one. :P

Oh yes, I was tagged by the simply awesome [info]remakinghistory. But I won't tag anyone. Tag yourselves if you like!

"Each person posts the rules before their list, then they list 8 things about themselves. At the end of the post, that person tags and links to 8 other people and then visits those peoples’ sites and comments letting them know that they have been tagged, and to come read the post, so they know what they have to do."

01. I believe that jazz & (alt./classic) rock owns all other genres.
02. I have earphones almost constantly glued to my ears. May be a form of life-support.
03. It really, really bugs me when I want a CD and I'm not able to get to the mall for ages!
04. Sometimes I hate the computer but I still go on it.
05. Fictional characters > real life people (9/10 times).
06. Real life gets it's ass kicked by fiction.
07. Certain manga series are some of the only things that can make me shed a tear (I don't cry!).
08. I hate a lot of today's music.

I downloaded some sheet music for my piano. I really have neglected playing it lately, my saxophone too. But I'll try out some of my new music! I'm going to my friends' house for a sleepover with Hayley and Barbara. It's something to do, anyways. This entry fails. :(

My e-mail inbox is mostly filled with spam. Really, no I do NOT want to buy your (cheap knock-off) Rolex watches! But it's always nice when you get an e-mail from a friend (other than Alene sending me one-liners about Fullmetal) or a cousin, especially if it's one you really like. :) I got an e-mail from my awesome cousin Em, complete with chat-speak. She's really a smart person, though (and only taking summer school to get a jump on Grade 11 math so she won't have to do it during Grade 11!). I thought I'd post it here because I have a terrible writer's block. It has lots of inside jokes so it shall be behind...a cut!

I'm going to the big T.O. (Toronto) on the 31st! I made some Red Hot Chili Peppers & Tori Amos icons, so I thought I'd post them here...behind a cut (*obsessed with cuts*). Please credit this journal or, more preferably, my site (http://wandering-mind.net/unimaginatarian).

Today, I woke up and the power was out. The city workers were trimming/cutting trees and/or fixing a cable. So I just did some chores, then sat on my couch with my portable, battery-powered CD walkman (considering all the other music sources in the house were powered by electricity) and listened to some Red Hot Chili Peppers. I just sat there, reading CD booklets (you know, those little things in the CD cases that sometimes have lyrics and such) and watching the rain. Then I played my sister at Backgammon. I beat her there, and when we played cards, we played Speed, and I beat her all but once. Then we played Crazy 8 Countdown and I won again.

All and all it's not been a very productive day. And of course, the power is back on. Here's that writer's block thing that LJ offers for all your blockage needs:

How well do you know your next-door neighbors?
Haha, I don't. They could be serial killers and I wouldn't know. *locks door*

I hate Mondays. Well, not so much in the summer. But it's still dead boring here, right now. I need to go to the mall so I can get Baby 81 by BRMC, 'cause I've been wanting that CD for a while now. I also want Howl. And I can never find Under the Pink by Tori Amos, except that one time, and it was really expensive, so I went away sulking without it. I don't get my check until the first Wednesday of August...I'm running low on money for the time being.

I saw Harry Potter: OotP with some friends on Saturday. It was alright. My favourite is still the first one. I mean, this one cut out all the Quidditch entirely, and Ron's Prefect-ness. At least Fred & George were awesome. When they left the school was the best scene in the entire movie. *bows to Oliver & George Phelps*. Luna was spot-on too.

This is my first post on LJ! I finally got around to getting one and a layout that I actually could customize (it was a hassle, though). Hope you like the header! :)

Well...come to think of it...I don't have anything to say. I'll write a real blog soon.
